Google Calendar offers you quick access to day, week and month displays via buttons at the top of the screen. Sometimes, though, it’s handy to see a whole-year view to help you plan future events.
You can achieve this by enabling Year View from the Labs section. To get there, click the cog-wheel icon and choose Labs from the drop-down menu.
You’ll now see the Year View tool appear in the right-hand sidebar:
This feature lets you see the entire chosen year in Google Calendar. Enter the year of interest and click Go. A full-year view will be shown:
Although this doesn’t display event data – which is a pity – note that each date is a clickable link. Clicking on a date will open your last-selected calendar view choice (week, month etc) for a period that includes the chosen date.
