Re-Open a Recently Closed Chrome Tab

I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve closed a tab in Google Chrome only to wish, a few moments later, that I’d left it open.

If this happens to you too, remember that you don’t need to open a new tab and then scrabble around looking for the URL of the page you were viewing.

Simply press Ctril + Shift + T to resurrect the most recently closed tab. You can also access, from the Settings button, a list of recently closed tabs and select the required page from there:

Additionally, to make sure that at start-up Chrome opens up the tabs you were previously using, you can navigate to Settings > On start-up > Continue where you left off and Chrome will afterwards always launch with the same tabs opened that were visible when you closed the browser.
