Now and again you want to perform some operation on your document, drawing or presentation. You know that what you want is in the menu system somewhere, but you can’t immediately find it (this often happens to me in the morning, before the caffeine has kicked in).
Rather than lose your train of thought while you search through menus and submenus, simply click on the Help menu:
Suppose I want to add a mathematical equation at the cursor location, but can’t find the relevant menu item. In the search box that appears under Help, I begin to type “equation”:
The menu items that match what I’ve so far typed appear in a drop-down; I can then just click on the one I want, to use it just as if I navigated to it through the menu system.
