Using the Google Translate Phrasebook

I recently discussed some of the things you can do with Google’s Translate tool.

A further feature of this handy application is the ability to save your translated phrases in the built-in phrasebook. Let’s suppose you’ve just translated a phrase:

To save this translated snippet for future reference, simply click on the star-shaped Save to Phrasebook icon below the translation:

To see a list of your saved snippets, click on the Show phrasebook icon to the top right of the window (the one that looks like a book with a star on the cover). The number shown in red by the icon shows how many snippets you have saved in the phrasebook:

Clicking the icon opens a sidebar displaying a sortable list of your saved translations:
