A little while ago I wrote this post about managing your Google Drive storage. This post is an update to that information, because the new Google Drive interface has added a useful new feature. You can now display all the files you’ve uploaded, listed by file size.
Mouse over the Manage link at the bottom left of the Drive page to bring up the storage summary panel:
Now click on Drive in that panel to see a list of your uploaded files sorted by file size:
If you need to free up some space, you can get rid of files direcly from this list by right-clicking the file entry and using Remove:
Remember that this list doesn’t include files created in Drive’s native formats, or converted to those formats.
