Receive Your Daily Agenda via Gmail

We all have different ways of working. Personally, I like to sit down with the first coffee of the morning and look through the coming day’s events. There’s a handy tool in Google Calendar to help out with this.

Calendar has a feature that mails you your day’s agenda at 5 a.m. (in your local time) so it’s there in your inbox when you first log in. The feature is disabled by default, but it’s easy to enable.

In Calendar, click on the cog wheel and select Settings and then Calendars. To the right of the calendar list you’ll find some additional options:

For the calendar(s) of interest, click on Edit notifications and scroll down to Daily agenda, and check the box:

Do the same for selected shared calendars too to receive a morning round-up of what everybody is doing that day.
