Google+ Polls

Google have recently launched Google+ Polls, a new feature that allows those on Google+ to generate interactive polls regarding any issue of their choice, and share them with their circles and others.

Here’s how the option appears when you’re creating a new post:

Images can be added to the polls using image files from your device or Google+ Photos, making them more interesting and engaging for users:

You can crop and resize the image you choose right there in the post editor:

Now add your question, and the answer options (up to five choices) you want to offer:

That’s it! Select who should see the poll by adding the names of your circles, email addresses of others and so on, as you would for any post. Here’s how a poll looks once posted:

Viewers of the poll can click on their chosen option and see the poll results by percentage right there in the post after they vote:

Polls will become available over the next few days, both on Android and the web, and will also be coming soon to iOS. Release track: is Rapid release with Scheduled release shortly.
