Google supplies several methods by which you can integrate external calendars – or the events they contain – into your Google Calendar display. Click the down-arrow next to Other Calendars to see the options:
Sometimes you need to edit or remove the share permissions of a single collaborator for a list of Google Drive documents. This might happen, for example, when an individual has left a project, a course, or a company.
Google’s services are generally very reliable, especially considering the scale of the user base and the complexity of some of the applications. Inevitably, though, gremlins occasionally strike and one or more services can suffer slow response, odd behaviour or unavailability.
Google Docs is gradually improving into a fairly capable word processor, but there are still one or two features available in many other word processors that haven’t yet made it into Docs. One such feature is the ability to print documents in booklet format, i.e. to print the pages side by side on a page turned to landscape format.
Google recently did a make-over of the Contacts page to use the newer ‘material design’ look, as I recently described in this post. One feature that was lost in this update (and was sadly missed by many users) is the ability to sort contacts either by first name OR last name.

Google Calendar offers you quick access to day, week and month displays via buttons at the top of the screen. Sometimes, though, it’s handy to see a whole-year view to help you plan future events.
Some while ago, in this post, I talked about using animations to spice up your slide presentations. Google has just made some improvements to the available animation options.
In the slide editor, right-click the item you wish to animate, as described in the previous post. Now, though, the drop-down menu offers two new animation types, Appear and Disappear, along with various new ways to customize the direction of the Fly In and Fly Out animations:
